Stabbing Shocker at Sheerness Holiday Park
Kent Police rushed to a holiday park on Plough Road, Sheerness, just after midnight on Saturday 22 May 2021 following reports of a violent assault.
Man in 20s Hospitalised with Stab Wounds
Armed officers and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived to find a man in his 20s suffering stomach injuries consistent with stab wounds. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Multiple Arrests Made on Scene
A police helicopter was scrambled to assist the search. Officers detained three suspects at the scene:
- A 23-year-old man from Harlow, Essex
- A 32-year-old man from Eastchurch, Kent
- A 32-year-old woman from Southampton
All three remain in custody, arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm.
Community Steps Up, Police Appeal for Witnesses
Bystanders helped stem the victim’s bleeding before emergency services arrived. Police spent hours speaking with witnesses and holiday park staff as the investigation continues.
