Buckland Church Targeted in Overnight Burglary
Police are hunting burglars who broke into Buckland United Reform Church on Kingston Road overnight between Friday evening, June 25, and Saturday morning.
Thieves Break In Through Window and Door
Sometime between 4pm Friday and 8am Saturday, crooks forced entry by smashing a window and damaging a door. They made off with a significant sum of money.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
The church was empty during the heist and no one was hurt. Officers believe the thieves escaped via a side door onto Queens Road.
Police want anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the church during this time to come forward.
