Fire Erupts Late on Saturday Night
Kent Police were called by Kent Fire and Rescue shortly after 11pm on Saturday, 3 July 2021, following reports of a house ablaze on Irving Walk.
Six Inside, One Hurt, Dog Dies
- Officers and SECAMB rushed to the scene.
- Six people were inside the property when the fire broke out.
- One person was treated on-site for smoke inhalation.
- A dog trapped inside sadly died at the scene.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Crack Cause of Fire
The cause of the blaze remains unknown. Detectives want to hear from anyone who spotted suspicious activity nearby between 10pm and midnight that night.
