Late-Night Horror in Orpington: Two Stabbed on High Street
Police rushed to Orpington High Street at 1.48am on Saturday, 7 August, after reports of a violent stabbing. On arrival, officers found a 23-year-old woman with stab wounds.
Man Also Found Stabbed at Scene
Nearby, a 56-year-old man was also discovered with stab injuries. Officers jumped into action, administering first aid before paramedics arrived.
Both victims were rushed to hospital. The woman’s injuries are not life-threatening, but police are still waiting for updates on the man’s condition.
18-Year-Old Arrested – Police Launch Major Investigation
An 18-year-old male was arrested at the scene, facing charges including grievous bodily harm, robbery, and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in custody as detectives investigate.
A crime scene remains in place on High Street.
