Loaded Skorpion SMG and Revolver Seized on Lambeth Estate
An Operation Viper team and local cops cracked down hard on the Sackville Estate in Lambeth yesterday.
Officers hit the estate to check out a string of abandoned vehicles. In one, they smashed in and found a loaded Skorpion sub-machine gun hidden under the rear passenger seat, packed with half a magazine of live bullets.

That wasn’t all. A pistol-style revolver loaded with three rounds plus a jammed bullet was tucked away in the driver’s seat pocket. Both weapons were taken for forensic tests and believed to be fully operational.
In another car, cops uncovered live shotgun cartridges hidden in a sock.
Viper Team Cracks Down on Gun Crime in Lambeth
Detective Inspector Richard Mullan said: “The Viper teams alongside the BCU and Specialist Crime teams are making it harder for criminals to engage in gun crime. This seizure is another great example of our dedication to remove guns from the streets and reduce violence.”
The haul delivers a serious blow to local gun crime gangs in the area. Officers vow to keep the pressure on to clean up the streets of deadly weapons.
