Deadly Fight Ends in Tragedy
Police launched a murder probe after a stabbing on Raleigh Road at 9.07pm, Wednesday, 24 November. The attack followed a fight involving a group of people.
When officers and paramedics arrived, they found Rishmeet with fatal stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he died at the scene shortly after.
Detectives Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley, leading the inquiry, said: “My thoughts continue to be with Rishmeet’s family and friends following this development. While one man remains in custody, we still need anyone with information about the events leading to Rishmeet’s death to come forward.”
