Police Praise Victim’s Bravery
“Tackling violence against women remains a top priority for the Met,” said Detective Constable Hannah Barton from the Central South Command Unit. “I hope Mills’ conviction sends a strong message that we, along with others across the criminal justice system, will tirelessly bring offenders before the courts.”
“The woman has shown immense strength throughout this investigation,” Barton added. “No woman should suffer any form of violence. I urge anyone in this position to trust the police – we will investigate and support you every step of the way.”
