Four Men Held Over Ryde Murder Probe
Police have made more arrests in the shocking death of 33-year-old Scott Cooper in Ryde.
Body Found in Ryde Flat
Officers descended on a flat in George Street on the afternoon of Tuesday 4 January after Scott, from Newport, was found dead. Now, after weeks of investigation, the inquiry has taken a major leap.
Raids Lead to Fresh Charges
On Tuesday 15 March, police executed warrants across several Ryde locations, including George Street, Warwick Street, Star Street, and Quarry Road.
A 25-year-old and a 41-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Two other men—aged 28 and 29—previously arrested for murder, were re-arrested under the same suspicion.
All four remain in custody as inquiries continue.
