Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead on Isle of Wight
Police have arrested a man following the launch of a murder investigation on the Isle of Wight. Officers were called to Green Lane just before 4am after the body of a 56-year-old woman was discovered inside a property.
Woman Found Dead Following Early Morning Call-Out
The woman’s death is currently being treated as unexplained. Her body was removed from the scene around 3:30pm on Thursday afternoon. Local reports name the arrested man as Mr Mitchell, believed to be the woman’s partner.
Domestic Dispute Sparks Police Investigation
It is understood the police were called to the address after a domestic dispute in the early hours. The investigation is ongoing.
