Young Man Fatally Stabbed in Netherfield Night Attack
Tragedy struck Netherfield last night when a 21-year-old man was stabbed outside a property on The Hide. Police were called at around 11.34pm on March 28 after reports of the attack.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, where the victim was found with serious stab wounds. He was treated on site and then taken to Milton Keynes" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Milton Keynes University Hospital, but sadly died in the early hours of March 29.
Police Launch Urgent Investigation and Section 60 Stop & Search
Thames Valley Police have launched a full-scale probe into the stabbing. Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard, leading the investigation, said:
“This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
“We are in the very early stages of our investigation and need anyone with information about the incident to come forward urgently.”
“If you saw any disturbance in the Netherfield area around 11.30pm, please get in touch.”
“We expect a significant police presence in the area over the coming days and have put a scene watch in place.”
“A Section 60 order is active in Milton Keynes until 5pm on March 30, giving officers increased stop and search powers to help keep the community safe.”
