Officers were called at about 11.34pm last night (28/3) following reports of a stabbing outside a property in The Hide, Netherfield. They attended the scene, along with the ambulance service, where a 21-year-old man had sustained stab wounds. He was treated at the scene, as well as at Milton Keynes University Hospital, but sadly died in the early hours of this morning (29/3). His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A Section 60 order has been put in place in Milton Keynes following the incident, which is due to expire at 5pm tomorrow (30/3). Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard, of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time. “We are in the very early stages of our investigation and we are working to establish the exact circumstances of what has taken place.
