Fatal Stabbing at Greenhill Road Junction
Officers rushed to Greenhill Road Junction, near Copped Hall Drive, just before 11pm on 27 May after reports of a stabbing. Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, the 17-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Teens Arrested—One Still in Custody
A 17-year-old boy was arrested soon after but later released without charge. A second 17-year-old was detained last night and remains in custody as police probe the deadly attack.
Police Vow to Bring Killer to Justice
“This was a tragic incident which has resulted in the loss of a young man’s life,” said Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Simon Dunn of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team. “Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. They are receiving support at this difficult time.”
