Following an incident in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, this afternoon (14/6), two boys were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
South Central Ambulance Service dispatched officers shortly after 4 p.m. to reports of a boy being stabbed in the vicinity of Coltsfoot Square.
The 14-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and is currently in serious but stable condition.
Two 16-year-old boys from Oxford are being held in custody.
There are scene-watches in place in the area, as well as an increased police presence.
This incident has resulted in my officers making very quick arrests,” said Superintendent Bruce Riddell, the Local Policing Area Commander for Oxford.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 and reference incident 1477 (14/6).”
