Fire Breaks Out on 13th Floor of Manor Park Tower Block

London Fire Brigade rushed to a blaze on Grantham Road in Manor Park this afternoon. A flat on the 13th floor of a 15-storey building was engulfed in flames.

60 Residents Escape as Flames Rage

About 60 people managed to flee the building before firefighters arrived. The Brigade confirmed the alarm was raised at 2:47pm, with crews from Ilford, Stratford, Leytonstone, Plaistow, Dagenham, and other stations tackling the inferno.

Multiple Calls Flood Fire Brigade

London Fire Brigade’s 999 control officers responded to over 40 calls about the incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown as investigations continue.
