Teen Terror Suspect Busted with Explosives and Extremist Content
Vaughn Conrad John Dolphin, 19, from Aldridge in Walsall, was arrested in Cheshire on the night of June 27 on suspicion of terror offences. Today, he was formally charged with multiple terrorism-related counts.
Charged with Explosives and Terror Materials
- Dolphin faces eight terror charges, including possession of explosive substances under the Explosive Substances Act 1883.
- He is also charged with two counts of sharing extremist online content aimed at encouraging or preparing terrorist acts, violating the Terrorism Act Section 2(1)(d).
- Additionally, Dolphin stands accused of holding six documents likely useful for committing or planning terrorism, contrary to the Terrorism Act 2000.
