A large police presence in Sandown this evening (Sunday), including officers using a drone to search for a missing person

There were reports of a large police presence in Sandown and the sighting of a drone in the sky around 11 p.m.

The Isle of Wight Police have confirmed that the search for the missing person is now over, with the individual found safe and well shortly after 11.35pm

As a result, the incident is being reduced in scope.
