Blazing Tanker Sparks Chaos on M25
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene after reports of a tanker ablaze on the M25, between Junction 2 (Darenth Interchange) and Junction 3 (Swanley).
Firefighters Battle Flames with Foam and Hose Jets
Two fire engines responded quickly. Crews donned breathing apparatus and used hose reel jets combined with foam to douse the fierce fire. Smoke inhalation led to one person receiving oxygen treatment at the scene.
Kent Police Take Charge of Traffic Control
Kent Police stepped in to manage lane closures and keep traffic moving safely. Responsibility for the motorway was handed back to the Highways Agency once the immediate danger passed.
