Brutal Early Morning Attacks Rock Bristol City Centre
Just before 6am on Saturday, 29 October, three men launched violent assaults on strangers in the heart of Bristol. The shocking attacks happened near the fountains by the Corn Street, Baldwin Street, and Broad Quay junctions.
Three Victims, One Critical After Fierce Beating
The victims, all in their 20s and 30s and unknown to each other, were set upon by a trio of attackers. One man suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition. The other two escaped with less severe wounds; one needed hospital treatment but has now been discharged.
Police Hunt Trio Described as Late 20s to Early 30s
CCTV footage is under review as cops race to identify the suspects. Here’s what witnesses say about the attackers:
- Male 1: White, around 6ft 2-3ins, large build, short brown hair, clean-shaven. Wearing a dark blue top and dark skinny jeans.
- Male 2: Mixed ethnicity, about 5ft 10ins, slightly curly hair, clean-shaven. Spotted in a white North Face waterproof jacket.
- Male 3: White, dark hair, wearing a black coat and sporting facial injuries.
