At around 7am on Wednesday 2 November 2022 39-year-old Matthew Butcher left
the area of Moor View Road on foot.
Following enquiries, it is believed Matthew was in Burger King in the
Chickerell area of Weymouth at around 9pm later the same day.
Matthew is described as five feet ten inches tall and with a beard and
reddish brown hair with a bald patch. He was last seen wearing a brown
Animal sweatshirt, a blue and black rain coat, dark-coloured trousers, grey
and black trainers and was carrying a dark-coloured rucksack.
Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police, said: “Matthew is a vulnerable man
and it is very out of character for him to leave unexpectedly.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Matthew, or a man matching the
description given, to please get in touch.
“Finally, if you see this appeal Matthew – please get in contact with us or
your family as we all just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
