Dog attack kills rare Hebridean sheep at Ashdown Forest
Ashdown Forest bosses are devastated after a young Hebridean wether was mauled to death by a dog inside the Gills Lap enclosure.
When did the attack happen?
The shocking attack happened sometime between Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning.
Dog owners warned to keep control
Ashdown Forest spokesperson urged dog walkers to be responsible, saying:
“There are signs warning dog-walkers on every approach to the enclosure. Please ensure that dogs are under proper control and effectively restrained at all times on the Forest.”
