Just before 12:50pm today, chaos hit New Ferry Approach in Woolwich. A lorry overturned, triggering swift emergency response.
Driver Hurt but Expected to Recover
Officers arriving at the scene found the truck driver injured. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A Met Police spokesperson confirmed: “The driver’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”
