Police are seeking information and witnesses following an incident in Lily Park on Oak Road, Redcar, where a child sustained an injury. The incident occurred at approximately 15.30 BST on Monday, June 19 while an eight-year-old girl was playing on a scooter.
According to reports, a man described as white and of large build entered the park accompanied by two large white dogs, believed to be bull terriers. The dogs were on lime green leads.
The child immediately ran to her mother, informing her that she had been bitten. She had a small cut on her thigh accompanied by bruising.
Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information regarding the identity of the man with the dogs to come forward.
