Two Men Re-Arrested Over Barnsley Man’s Mysterious Disappearance

Detectives have stunned the community by re-arresting two men in connection with the baffling disappearance of Richard Dyson from Barnsley.

Suspects Back in Custody

The men, aged 70 and 69, were originally nabbed in March 2021 on suspicion of murder. Today (Wednesday 12 July), police hauled them in again over the same serious charge. Both suspects remain in custody as officers crunch through the evidence once more.

Last Seen Walking Sheffield Road

Richard Dyson, 58, was last spotted by his daughter on Friday 15 November 2019. Police traced his final known sighting to Sunday 17 November around 11pm, when he was seen walking along the A6135 Sheffield Road in Hoyland.
