Police have charged Sherwan Ali, 27, from Middle Street, with attempted murder following a brutal attack on Monday afternoon. The incident unfolded at 2:34pm, when officers were called to an address on Middle Street after reports of a serious assault.
Victim Hospitalised with Multiple Stab Wounds
The victim, a 33-year-old man from Southsea, was found with stab wounds to his chest, face, and hands. He was rushed to Southampton General Hospital and remains in stable condition.
Suspect Remanded in Custody
Sherwan Ali has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 2 March.
