After A House In Calderdale Was Set On Fire, Police Are Looking For Witnesses

Police received a call from the Fire service shortly before 9.30 p.m. yesterday evening (Thursday, February 2), reporting a fire in a property on Union Street South in Halifax.

As a precaution, emergency services were called and a number of residents were evacuated.

There was no one injured.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing in order to determine what happened.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call Calderdale CID on 101 and reference log 1827 from February 2.

Anonymous tips can also be given to the independent charity Crimestoppers by dialling 0800 555 111.
