The venue was bursting at the seams around 11:45pm when staff requested police help. A large throng lingered outside, desperate to get in but refusing to budge.
Road Closures Bring Nighttime Chaos
Officers arrived and swiftly imposed road closures on Burton Street and South Sherwood Street for about an hour to manage the mess and restore order.
Arrests Made But No Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the commotion. However, police arrested three troublemakers — one for being drunk and disorderly, another for possessing a Class B drug, and a third for carrying an offensive weapon.
