Huge Hotel Blaze Rips Through Midhurst
Firefighters raced to a major roof fire at a hotel on North Street, Midhurst, in the early hours of Thursday, 16 March. The blaze quickly spread to nearby buildings, sparking a dangerous situation.
Massive Fire Response Deployed
At 1:08am, emergency services were called to tackle the inferno. Joint Fire Control sent 15 fire engines, two aerial ladders, water carriers, an off-road vehicle, and a high-volume pump. On arrival, crews faced intense flames engulfing the hotel’s roof.
Firefighters are battling to contain the fire and expect to be on the scene for hours.
