Horror Crash on B4035 Leaves Seven Critically Injured
A brutal collision rocked the B4035 Campden Road just west of the Fosse Way at around 4.05pm on Friday.
Massive Emergency Response Rolls In
Emergency services swung into action with an impressive deployment: four air ambulances from Midlands, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire, and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, six road ambulances, plus multiple paramedic officers from both West Midlands and South Western Ambulance Services.
Seven Teens and Kids Seriously Hurt
West Midlands Ambulance Service revealed the shocking scene. Two cars suffered major damage. Inside the first were four teenagers — three young men and one woman — all battling life-threatening injuries. They received urgent trauma care from air ambulance crews.
A man and woman from that car were rushed by air to the John Radcliffe Hospital’s major trauma centre in Oxford. Another man was flown to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, while a fourth was driven there with an air ambulance doctor onboard.
The second car carried a woman and two children, a boy and a girl, all seriously injured. They were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital for emergency treatment.
Eight Patient Also Treated at Scene
An eighth man at the scene collapsed due to a medical issue but was treated and discharged on site.
Emergency crews continue to manage this tragic incident as investigations unfold.
