Tom Bennett and Sam Swainsbury Join Hullraisers Season Two!

Channel 4 and Fable Pictures have announced two exciting new cast members for the hit Hull-based comedy Hullraisers. Tom Bennett (known for Trying, Brassic, After Life) and Sam Swainsbury (Mum, Ruby Speaking) are set to join the star-studded lineup for the show’s second series, penned by Caroline Moran and Anne-Marie O’Connor.

Returning Stars and New Faces Bring the Laughs

They join a brilliant cast including RTS Award nominee Leah Brotherhead, Sinead Matthews, BAFTA-nominated Taj Atwal, Perry Fitzpatrick, Yanick Ghanty, Natalie Davies, Felicity Montagu, and Shobna Gulati. The chaotic comedy captures the wild ride of life, friendship, and family – all with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

What’s Next for Toni, Craig, and the Gang?

  • Toni (Leah Brotherhead) and Craig (Perry Fitzpatrick) are bracing for baby number two, despite Toni’s denial.
  • Paula (Sinead Matthews) and Dane (Yanick Ghanty) struggle with Ashley (Natalie Davies) growing up and moving out.
  • Rana (Taj Atwal) gets a menopause masterclass courtesy of her mum Nima (Shobna Gulati).

New Drama: Love and Police Antics

Tom Bennett plays John Fox, the new love interest for Craig’s mum Gloria (Felicity Montagu). A 15-year age gap won’t stop the sparks flying, but how will Craig react to this new “dad” figure?

Meanwhile, Sam Swainsbury is Pickles, Rana’s new police partner. They’re chalk and cheese on patrol, but will opposites really attract?

We can’t wait for audiences to join us for another series of outrageous laughs and Hullian mayhem.”
