Tragedy in Hoyland as man found dead at Springwood Road property.
Early Morning Shock
Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service just after 6.30am on Saturday, May 6, after a man was discovered seriously injured at a home on Springwood Road, Hoyland.
Man Pronounced Dead at Scene
Officers arrived quickly, but sadly the 38-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
Murder Investigation Underway
Police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Woman Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
A 48-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
