Three Stabbed and One Man Possibly Suffers Brain Injury in Early Morning Attacks
Chaos on Elephant Road and Kennington Road
Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, police were called to Elephant Road following reports of a stabbing. Officers found one man with stab wounds to his neck and shoulder, and another with a leg injury and possible damage to his eye socket. Both were rushed to hospital but their injuries aren’t considered life-threatening.
More Violence Just 15 Minutes Away
Moments later, reports came in of another stabbing on Kennington Road, a short walk from the first scene. Police arrived to find a 23-year-old man suffering a stab wound to the arm. A second male at the scene appeared to have a potential brain injury.
Four Men Arrested and Charged with Attempted Murder
Both men at Kennington Road, along with others, have since been charged with attempted murder. Four men are in police custody as investigations continue.
