Following the discovery of a man’s body in the Humber Estuary on Sunday 7 May it is with deep sadness we are now able to confirm this to be missing Grimsby man Jamie Bemrose

Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, Jamie’s family have been informed and our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.

Jamie was reported to us as missing on Monday 10 April after he was last seen in the area of Immingham Docks at around 9pm on Sunday 9 April.

Humberside Police initial enquiries have been carried out and his death is not being treated as suspicious
