Water Supply Disruption Affects Thousands Of Homes In West And Southwest London

A significant water supply disruption has left thousands of households in western and southwestern London with low water pressure or no water at all, according to Thames Water. The issue stems from a power supply problem that has impacted the Ashford and Hampton water treatment facilities in western London.

Thames Water has identified a list of affected postcodes, which include various areas across west and southwest London. These postcodes are SW4, SW8, SW9, SW13, SW14, SW15, SW18, SW19, TW1, TW2, TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW8, TW9, TW10, TW11, TW12, TW13, TW14, TW17, W1H, W1M, W1N, W2, W3, W4, W6, W7, W10, W12, W13, and W14.

Earlier, Thames Water had also reported additional postcodes as affected, but they have since been removed from the list. The water utility company is actively working to address the issue and restore normal water supply to the affected areas.

Munira Wilson, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Twickenham in southwest London, has expressed concern about the impact of the water supply disruption on her constituency. She noted that some schools in the area had been forced to remain closed due to the issue and urged Thames Water to resolve the situation promptly.
