Authorities in Birmingham are appealing for information following a string of thefts involving dry riser valves and copper pipework from tower blocks. These valves, essential for the fire service during emergencies, are believed to have been stolen for their scrap metal value.

The most recent incident occurred on October 5 at Essington House in Sladefield Road. To aid in the investigation, CCTV images have been released, showing a man suspected of involvement in the theft.
