Teen Boy Attacked During Evening Walk Under Kingsmead Road

A boy was viciously assaulted by two teenage boys at around 7pm on Thursday 5 October 2023. The violence happened on a footpath beneath Kingsmead Road, where one attacker had a black and green bike.

The pair tried to steal the victim’s wallet after the assault. Luckily, a passer-by on an e-scooter arrived just in time, forcing the attackers to flee without the stolen goods.

Victim Hospitalised, Police Launch Robbery Probe

The victim needed hospital treatment for his injuries. Detectives have launched a full investigation, classifying the case as attempted robbery.

Police Seek Witness on E-Scooter to Crack Case

Officers have yet to identify or locate the e-scooter rider, who could hold vital clues to the investigation. Police urge the rider or anyone with info to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/178694/23.
