Late-Night Cardiac Arrest at Oxford Street Junction

Police rushed to the crossroads of Oxford Street and Bernard Street at 12.40am on Friday 22 December after reports of a man in his 40s suffering a cardiac arrest. The victim, from Fareham, had been involved in an altercation before collapsing.

Two Men Arrested on Murder Suspicion

Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers swiftly arrested two men from Totton – aged 60 and 35 – on suspicion of murder. Both remain in police custody as investigations continue.

CCTV Footage Released – Police Search for Witnesses

Police have now released CCTV images of two men believed to be in the area during the incident. They could hold vital information about what happened.

Driver of Grey Nissan Juke Sought

Authorities are also appealing for the driver of a grey/silver Nissan Juke spotted driving down Bernard Street around the time of the attack. Investigators believe this driver may have witnessed crucial details.
