Woman Busted Smuggling £800k Cocaine Haul Through Heathrow
Azra Williams, 58, from Bilston, Wolverhampton, was caught red-handed by Border Force officers at Heathrow Airport. She had arrived from Montego Bay, Jamaica, on Saturday, December 23.
10 Kilos of Cocaine Found Hidden in Suitcase
Officers discovered 10 kilos of cocaine concealed within the lining of a suit carrier inside one of her checked bags. Once cut, the drugs’ street value was estimated at a whopping £800,000. Williams has been charged with importing Class A drugs.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Date
Williams appeared before Uxbridge Magistrates on Boxing Day. She was remanded in custody and is set to next appear at Isleworth Crown Court on January 25.
