Leo’s life was cut short on November 28, 2023, as emergency services responded to reports of a casualty on the tracks near Shortlands Railway Station at 4.50am

Despite the efforts of paramedics, Leo could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family described him as a young soul with the world at his feet, capable of achieving anything he set his mind to. In a statement, they shared their deep sorrow, remembering Leo as a son, big brother, nephew, grandson, and friend.
