Erratic Driving Sparks Drug Arrest

On Wednesday 5 October 2022 at around 1.35pm, police pulled over a car on Romney Road, Ashford after spotting reckless driving. The man behind the wheel, 43, was immediately arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. Officers discovered multiple bags of what’s believed to be cocaine tucked inside a Spider-Man sock in the suspect’s possession. This led to a second arrest for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Police Dog Sniffs Out £3,000 Cash Stash

Next came a search of the man’s home under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Police Dog Tilly’s sharp nose located nearly £3,000 in cash hidden inside another sock under the bed.

Samurai Sword Seized in Shocking Find

Adding to the dramatic haul, officers also seized a samurai sword from the property. The 43-year-old was later released from custody but remains under investigation.
