A significant search operation has been launched in the freezing temperatures to locate a missing man from Sittingbourne, Kent.

Andrew Bekusch, a 47-year-old resident, was last seen at approximately 6:30 am on Monday, January 15, 2024, in the Sheerness Road area of Lower Halstow. Concerns have been mounting for his safety as the search continues.

Bekusch is described as a white male, standing at five feet eight inches tall, with a stocky build. He has dark brown hair, a full beard, and brown eyes, making him distinguishable by a tattoo of a black dragon on his left arm and shoulder. At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to be wearing a dark hooded top, dark jogging bottoms, and brown boots.

Currently, authorities believe that Mr. Bekusch is travelling on foot. With freezing temperatures prevailing in the area, the urgency of locating him has grown.

Kent Police have asked the public for any information regarding Andrew Bekusch’s whereabouts. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 999, quoting reference 15-1168, to aid the ongoing search efforts.
