Man Charged with Rape and Manslaughter of Natalie Shotter

A man has been charged with the rape and manslaughter of 37-year-old Natalie Patricia Shotter, who died in 2021.

Mohamed Iidow in Custody

Mohamed Iidow, 34, of no fixed address, was charged on Thursday, 21 December. He made his first court appearance at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 12 January.

Iidow was remanded in custody and is due back at the Old Bailey on Friday, 19 January.

Natalie’s Death in Southall Park

Natalie Shotter was found dead in Southall Park on 17 July 2021. Her death was initially treated as unexpected while police conducted further inquiries.

Ongoing Investigation Led by Specialist Crime Command

A man was arrested shortly after the incident on 4 August 2021 and has since been charged with the serious offences.

The investigation remains ongoing, led by Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley and the Specialist Crime Command.
