Brutal Attack in Week Street: Man Stamped on Head in Shocking Assault
Violent Scene Caught on CCTV
Aaron Coxhead was arrested after CCTV operators flagged a savage disturbance in Week Street. Police rushed to the scene just after 1am on Tuesday 13 February 2024 following reports that a man had been punched and knocked to the ground.
Fury as Victim Stamped on Repeatedly
It’s alleged the victim, a man in his 40s, was kicked and punched before Coxhead jumped on his head with both feet. The victim was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
Suspect Charged and Remanded
Officers detained Coxhead, 34, of Victoria Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottingham, at 1.10am. He was promptly taken into custody. Coxhead now faces charges of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the next day and was remanded in custody. His next hearing is set for 11 March at Maidstone Crown Court.
