A 32-year-old man has been slammed with over seven months behind bars after violently attacking security and police at Hull Paragon Station.

Liam Sullivan’s violent outburst

Liam Sullivan, from Salthouse Lane, Hull, faced justice after a brutal assault on security staff and British Transport Police officers. The shocking attack happened on Wednesday, January 3 last year.

Bitten and kicked in shocking assault

As officers tried to escort Sullivan out, he ripped off his headphones and lashed out. He bit a female officer so hard her skin was punctured. He didn’t stop there – he also kicked and bit security staff during the fracas.

Strong message to offenders

“Sullivan’s sentence sends out a clear message that any form of violence towards those who work on the railway will never be tolerated.”

Alongside his jail time, Sullivan was also hit with a £154 surcharge, showing the cost of attacking public servants won’t be cheap.
