A murder investigation has been launched by the police following the tragic death of a woman in the Madrid Street area. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was discovered with severe head injuries inside a house yesterday afternoon.
Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin, leading the investigation, emphasised the urgency of determining the circumstances surrounding the incident. “Our officers responded to a report of the woman’s death shortly before 4.25pm she stated. “Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the woman in a bedroom, her head having sustained serious injuries.”
The ongoing inquiries aim to shed light on the events leading up to this tragedy. As of now, three individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the case. Among them are a woman in her 40s and two men in their 20s, all arrested on suspicion of murder.
