Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information, such as CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage, to come forward following a series of criminal damage incidents in East Sussex.
Residents in Denton, Newhaven, Telscombe Cliffs, and PEACEHAVEN" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Peacehaven" data-wpil-monitor-id-removed="109293">Peacehaven reported damage to the walls and roofs of their properties overnight on Tuesday, June 11.
The following day, men posing as local builders offered to repair the damage, raising suspicions of potential fraud.
In response, Lewes Neighbourhood 123, theft, and fraud. They remain in custody at this time.
Police have thanked residents and motorists for their patience during the disruptions caused on the A259 during the arrests.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are keen to speak with anyone who may have been affected.
