What’s Happening? Contraflow in Place
During the closure, the eastbound tunnel will switch to contraflow to keep traffic moving. The A282 northbound east tunnel will close from 9:30 PM to 6 AM Friday into Saturday for maintenance and again at night over the weekend, with diversions across the National Highways network.
Meanwhile, the southbound QEII Bridge faces a full closure from 10 PM to 5 AM Saturday into Sunday. Traffic will be routed via the east tunnel contraflow system to minimise delays.
