Police Respond to Chaotic Scene
The Florence Police Department rushed to the scene just after 2:50 am following reports of gunfire. Officers found seven victims on arrival. Four were declared dead on site, while three were rushed to a Cincinnati hospital fighting for their lives.
Suspect Dead After Dramatic Police Chase
The shooter fled the scene but was quickly pursued by police. The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle veered off the road into a ditch. Authorities later revealed the suspect sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the pursuit and was pronounced dead at hospital.
Officials confirmed the suspect acted alone and stressed there’s no ongoing threat to public safety.
