Woman in her 20s Raped in Maidstone – Man in Custody
Kent Police were called at 5.45am on Thursday 18 July 2024 after a woman in her 20s reported being raped in the Marlborough Road area of Maidstone.
25-Year-Old Man Arrested and Held
Officers launched an immediate investigation and arrested a 25-year-old man linked to the attack. He remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
- Anyone in the Marlborough Road area between midnight and 6am on 18 July is urged to speak to police.
- Drivers with dashcam footage or residents with private CCTV and doorbell cameras who have not yet been contacted should get in touch.
