An 11-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson following an incident in which a police vehicle was reportedly set alight on Dent Street in Hartlepool on the evening of Wednesday, 31st July. The incident occurred amid disorder in the town, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.

Cleveland Police Assistant Chief Constable David Felton addressed the situation, stating, “This is very much a live investigation, and we are continuing to work to identify those involved in the disorder yesterday evening and bring them to justice.
