M25 Closed Due to Multi-Vehicle Collision in Surrey: Expect Delays

Motorists travelling on the M25 in Surrey are facing significant delays today following a serious road traffic collision involving multiple vehicles. The anti-clockwise carriageway between Junction 9 (Leatherhead) and Junction 8 (Reigate) has been completely closed as emergency services attend the scene.

Surrey Police, South East Coast Ambulance Services, and National Highways Traffic Officers are working to manage the incident.

Diversion Route: Drivers affected by the closure are advised to follow the hollow square diversion symbol and take the following route:

  1. Exit the M25 at Junction 10.
  2. Join the A3 northbound towards London.
  3. At Tolworth, exit the A3 and join the A240 Tolworth Interchange.
  4. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout, continuing on the A240 towards Reigate.
  5. Merge onto the A24 at Organ Junction.
  6. At the A24 Ewell bypass roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A240.
  7. At the A240/A217 Burgh Heath junction, turn right at the traffic signals onto the A217 towards Reigate.
  8. Rejoin the M25 at Reigate Hill Interchange.
