Teen Stabbed in Late-Night Ipswich Assault
Police are hunting witnesses after a teenager was stabbed in Ipswich town centre just before midnight on Saturday, 21 September.
Officers rushed to St Stephen’s Lane at 11.58pm following reports of a violent altercation involving a group of males, one armed with a knife.
Victim Suffers Puncture Wounds to Leg
The victim, a man in his late teens, suffered two puncture wounds to his leg. He was quickly taken to hospital by ambulance and is receiving treatment. Thankfully, police say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Suspects Fled, Police Believe Attack Was Targeted
Witnesses say the attackers wore grey or dark clothing with their hoods up. Several suspects were seen fleeing on foot, heading towards Upper Brook Street and Dial Lane.
Police believe this was not a random attack and that those involved knew each other.
